Extracranial Vertebral Artery Stenosis - Case 3

A 74 year-old man woman presented with spells of diplopia, slurred speech and an unsteady gait. Her neurologic examination was normal.

Outline the Vertebral Stenosis

Angiogram of the right subclavian artery. (Left) Note the high grade stenosis of the origin of the vertebral artery. (Right) Post-anglioplasty and stenting: note that normal flow has been re-established (red arrow).
