Frontotemporal Dementia

A 65 year-old man developed progressive dementia.

Note the Enlarged Sylvian Fissures   Note the Temporal Atrophy   Note the Frontal Atrophy   Note the Hydrocephalus "Ex-vacuo"

Flair MRI (Left) Coronal; (Middle) Axial - midbrain level; (Right) Axial - vertex level. Note the parenchymal volume loss, which is more marked in the frontal and temporal areas.
