Glioblastoma - Frontal Lobe - Case 7

A 37 year-old woman presented with headaches, right sided weakness and a depressed affect over 3 weeks.

Show the Gadolinium Enhancement                   Note the Midline Shift

Axial MRI scans. (Left) T1-weighted image; (Right) T1-weighted with gadolinium. Note the large, well demarcated mass in the left frontal lobe which enhances with contrast. There is also a cystic component of the tumor. Also note the subfacial herniation of the cingulate gyrus. Surgical biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of malignant glioblastoma.
