Glioblastoma Multiforme - Parietal Lobe - Case 2

A 49 year-old woman with a history of secondary progressive MS presented with confusion and right sided weakness over 2 weeks.

Note the Mass Lesion     Note the Other White Matter Lesions from the MS

Axial MRI Flair images: note the numerous areas of demyelination in multiple areas of the white matter, consistent with patient's history of MS. Most of the lesions are near the ventricles. However, there is one large lesion in the posterior left parietal area which demonstrates mass effect. Note that the edema is crossing the midline via the splenium of the corpsum callosum. Biopsy of the lesion demonstrated glioblastoma.
