Glioblastoma Multiforme - Parietal Lobe - Case 2

A 49 year-old woman with a history of secondary progressive MS presented with confusion and right sided weakness over 2 weeks.

Note the Gadolinium Enhancement

Axial MRI T1-weighted with gadolinium images: note the large enhancing mass in the posterior left parietal area which demonstrates mass effect.This picture is most suggestive of an intrinsic CNS malignancy such as glioblastoma multiforme. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis.
