Meningioma - Frontal  Parafalcine - Case 1

A 55 year-old woman presented with a change in her personality. On exam, she was markedly abulic.

Axial T2-weighted MRI scans.  Note the large, mass compressing the adjacent frontal lobe and genu of the corpus callosum. The mass in the midline, arising from the left.  This is the typical appearance of a meningioma.  Meningiomas are common tumors.  They are typically benign histologically, and treatable with surgical resection if they are in an accessible location.
