Neurology and Neurosurgery:

INDICATIONS, CONTRAINDICATIONS AND LIMITATIONS

 

 

After the neurologic history and physical examination, the evaluation of a patient with a suspected neurologic disorder often involves diagnostic testing. The most commonly used diagnostic tests in neurology and neurosurgery are the following:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Computerized Tomography (CT)

Lumbar puncture

Electroencephalography (EEG)

Electromyography (EMG)
