Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis - Transverse and Sigmoid Sinus

A 36 year-old woman presented with headaches, seizures, and numbness affecting the right body.

Show the Clot in the Left Sigmoid Sinus

MRI Scans. (Left) T1-weighted axial image; (Right) T2-weighted axial image. Note the bright signal in the sigmoid sinus on the left in both scans. This is the pattern seen in a subacute blood clot (3-7 days old).
