A microcathether was placed within the aneurysm followed by packing the aneurysm with Guglielmi Detachable Coil (GDC)s. In this procedure, increasingly smaller radiopaque platinum coils are placed through a microcatheter into the aneurysm, which then obliterates the cavity.
