Posterior Communicating Artery Aneurysm - Case 2

A 24 year-old man developed the abrupt onset an explosive headache followed by nausea and vomiting.

Cerebral angiogram, right internal artery injection. Note the aneurysm arising from the posterior communicating artery. This is one of the common locations for aneurysms. In this case, the aneurysm was treated with endovascular therapy (coiling ). The image on the right shows successful coiling of the aneurysm.
