Vertebral Artery Dissection - Case 2

A 34 year-old man developed transient vertigo associated with left neck pain.

Outline the Left Vertebral Dissection                    Outline the Normal Right Vertebral

Fat suppresion MRI of the neck. Note the bright signal in the left vertebral artery. This is the signature of subacute blood within the vessel wall. Also note the normal flow void in the right vertebral artery.
