Case 7 - Astrocytoma of the Corpus Callosum

A 34 year-old man developed progressive headaches and a change in personality over 6 weeks.

Show the Gadolinium Enhancement     Note the Spread Across the Corpus Callosum

Axial T1-weighted MRI axial scans with gadolinium. Note the enhancing mass in the deep white matter which is crossing through the corpus callosum (best seen in the middle image). Stereotactic biopsy demonstrated an astrocytoma.
