Ependyoma

A 30 year-old woman presented with headaches, nausea, vomiting and an unsteady gait.

Note the Enlarged Ventricles                                          Show the Gadolinium Enhancement

T1-weighted axial MRI scans with gadolinium. (Left) Coronal scan; (Right) Sagittal scan. Note the large midline enhancing cerebellar mass invading the roof of the fourth ventricle and growing downward into the foramen magnum. Surgical decompression showed the mass to be a ependyoma.
