Middle Cerebral Artery Giant Aneurysm - Case 3

A 42 year-old woman developed headaches and slowly progressive weakness affecting the left side over two months.

Outline the Giant Aneurysm     Show the Calcification within the Aneurysm     Show the Vasogenic Edema

Axial CT scan. Note the large mass in the right frontal/temporal lobes associated with mass effect and vasogenic edema. The mass is hetereogenous with the bright areas representing acute blood. Also note how circular pattern of the mass. This is a giant aneurysm of the middle cerebral artery which is mostly thrombosed.
