Subdural Hematoma - Unilateral Subacute - Case 3

A 48 year-old man was drowsy and confused after a car accident. He had a large bruise over the right temporal region.

Show an Outline of the SDH

Axial CT Scans. Note the isoinstense right sudural hematoma with obvious mass effect on the adjacent hemisphere. Isointense subdurals can easily be missed. Note how the sulci are effaced on the right compared to the left.
