Basilar Occlusion

A 42 year-old woman presented with an acute quadriparesis and dysphagia requiring urgent intubation.

Label the Arteries

Post-TPA Cerebral angiogram, right vertebral injection. (Left) AP view; (Right) Lateral view. Note that normal flow has been re-established to the basilar artery following intravenous and intra-arterial TPA. The patient was discharged from the hospital 2 days later with no appreciable neurologic deficit.
